Becky and Evan Visit Chicago |
Hello there! Allow me, Evan, to be your tour guide to Chicago, as seen through a four-year-old’s eyes. In February 2007, Mom and I (pictured at left) went on a trip to Chicago, where Mom lived before Dad entered the picture. |
Patrick, a friend of Mom’s since college days, played host and let us stay at his house while in Chicago. Of course, in the spirit of being four, what impressed me most about Patrick was his dog. After all, how many dogs do you know that can give high fives? |
So what can be better than a dog? Dinosaurs, of course! I liked going to the museum and seeing them. |
Mom loves the Shedd Aquarium. This fish and I bonded there. |
In keeping with the whole animal theme, I was also pretty awe-stricken by this bird sculpture at the airport. |
Of course, you can’t go to Chicago without seeing the Sears Tower. |
It was a great trip. It was nice to have special time with Mom and go do lots of fun things. If you’re ever planning a trip to Chicago, give me a call. I’ll steer you toward the best sites. |
