| Dave and Evan Visit Georgia | ||

November 2007 marked the 50th wedding anniversary of Dad’s Aunt Sara and Uncle Ralph, so Dad and I went down to Georgia to see them. |  |

We flew down with Uncle Mark and Mama and Papa. |  |
| Ralph and Sara’s daughters Carolyn, Lynne, and Tracy were all there with their families. |

| There was a nice reception where lots of their friends came, but I didn’t put any of their pictures here since I didn’t know them. It was hard enough to keep all the family straight! |  |

While in Georgia, we also visited Harlem, where Papa and Sara’s parents lived on a farm before they died. While we were there, we met Bob Whitaker and his son Bob Whitaker, who Mama hooked up with via her genealogy connections. Somewhere down the line, it looks like they’re cousins of mine. |

Playing with cousins was the highlight of the trip for me. Everyone thought it was pretty funny that I liked to play dog so much. My cousin Matt’s fiancé Amy even put out a bowl for me to drink water. |  |

It was pretty special to be with Sara and Ralph and their family while they celebrated 50 years. Congratulations! |  |
