Deanna Rose Farmstead:
Through the Years 2003-2011

We’ve visited the Deanna Rose Farmstead many times. It has grown with us through the years, adding new attractions and redesigning and expanding. For example, Evan and Levi are standing just inside the entrance in the picture at the right. The first few years we visited the farm, this didn’t even exist!

Both boys have celebrated birthdays at the farm.

Levi’s 4th birthday, May 2009

Some of the new attractions added over the years include an artificial cow for milking, a school house, an area to pan for gemstones, and a native American area with an underground hut and a teepee.

Other things have been favorites for years – like the diggers in the sand area, the tractor, the kid-sized tractors, and the water pump.

Other highlights through the years include annual Halloween event where one can pick out a pumpkin and play in the “corn” sandbox. There’s also the garden, complete with the requisite “put your head through here” attractions, the slide, and the log cabin.

In case you’re wondering, the farm does have animals other than goats.

We hope you’ve enjoyed our tour of Deanna Rose Farmstead and our walk down memory lane. Stay tuned – there’s still a couple months left this summer. We’re bound to capture a few more shots of us feeding goats!
