Tuesday, August 6: Delivery coaches (Becky's mom Shirley and friend Jodie) arrive. Wednesday, August 7: Due date comes and goes; no baby yet. Thursday, August 8, 11pm: Water breaks (well, trickles). Everyone in house frantically searches through maternity books to see if this is it. A call to the doctor confirms this is the real thing. |

Friday, August 9, midnight: Mom and coaching team arrive at hospital. Dave's brother Mark arrives soon after. Everyone settles in and waits for four hours for nothing to happen. |

Friday, August 9, 4am: Pitosin administered to bring on contractions. Mom still dilated at 2. Has to get to 10. Friday, August 9, 7am: Pitosin increased. Now it hurts. Still no dilation progress. Friday, August 9, 11am: Bring on the epidural please! |  |

Friday, August 9, 11:30am: Becky sleeps through major contractions. Others doze without the aid of any drugs whatsoever. |
