The Cougars 2009 Soccer Team
Friends and family – here are some shots from Evan’s soccer season. Help yourself to any of these photos – just right click on your mouse and then select “Save Picture As.”
This was Evan’s first experience with soccer and, other than tee-ball when he was four, his first real team sport experience.

First off, many thanks to Coach Dan (crouched in photo at left) and Coach Todd (in baseball hat in photo at right) for all their work this year! The kids learned a lot, and at least from Evan’s perspective, had a lot of fun.

One of the interesting things about a fall soccer league is the change in weather from the onset to the end of the season. Check out how differently everyone is dressed in these pretty similar shots.

The kids worked hard with a practice and a game each week for eight weeks from August through November. Here’s shots of them practicing.

Somehow we managed to miss out on actual game-in-action shots, but here’s a couple pics of Coach Dan giving out game balls..

We did get some team shots.

On a personal note, Evan lost his first tooth during a game! Unfortunately, he really lost it – and then to top it off, he lost his second tooth in anothergame! Here’s hoping he loses the third one at home where he can find it!

We wrapped up the year with a pizza party and all the kids got awards.

And, of course, we took a couple more team photos.

Hooray for all the boys and thanks to the coaches! Here’s hoping for more great memories in the future!
