August 9, 2010: Evan’s 8th birthday
Well, guess who’s eight years old?!?

I ended up with three celebrations of my birthday. First up was a party at the T-Rex Café with the Whitaker family.

We just went for deserts, but we still got a lot, including these huge milkshakes and this volcano desert.
Then I got some presents, including silly bands from Mom and Dad, a dinosaur from the Build-a-Dino store from Mama and Papa, and an outfit from Uncle Mark and Aunt Liz.

We did the T-Rex Café party over the weekend, but since my birthday fell on a Monday, I got yet another celebration that day. I opted for dinner at BD’s Mongolian Barbeque, where I opened presents from the Gunn family.

Finally, the third celebration came the next weekend when I had a party with my friends.
First, we went to see the new Cats and Dogs movie in 3D. Then we headed home for cake and ice cream.
Things finished up with some water play in the backyard – check out the video below of some of us on the Slip and Slide!

Well, you can’t beat three birthday parties to celebrate one special day! Thanks to all my friends and family for making eight great!
