Hello everybody! Another year, another birthday – this time, it’s the big three. I’m still working on being able to hold up three fingers on the same hand.
My big birthday wish was to eat at the “Big Bird” restaurant – which some of you may know better as Red Robin. I was very excited to see the big Red Robin mascot, but didn’t want to get too close, so we got a picture of Evan hugging him.
I got my own ice cream sundae at the restaurant, but this is about the only bite I ate. I decided to save room for birthday cake instead.
Of course, when I got home I became too interested in the presents and didn’t eat any cake either. As you can see, I opened them all by myself…
Well, no…there’s Mom’s opening my fire truck from Mama and Papa…
…and here’s Evan opening one of my presents…I thought I opened my presents…
Okay, here we go! I finally got to open something.
In addition to the fire truck, I also got a stuffed dog and some smaller fire trucks from Uncle Mark and Aunt Liz. Mom and Dad gave me some books, a basketball, and a digger with lots of buttons that make the digger move and make sounds.
It was a great birthday. The restaurant and presents were great, but the time with family was even better! Can anything say what a great day it was any better than the smile plastered on the mug at right? Thanks, family!
