2004

Yet another trip to Deanna Rose farm! They really should do advertising on my Website. This time, Mom and Dad and I went with the Schneiders. I used to play with Kaylee (in picture at left) at the Parents As Teachers play center.

Boy, parents will photograph you doing anything, won’t they? I just started running into the bathroom and standing by the toilet when I went to the bathroom, so Mom and Dad thought they’d build on that. They aren’t going to push the potty training, but they want to support me if I seem ready.

I’ve really gotten into pretend play. In the photo on the left, I was pretending to feed Pooh and Tigger. At the right, I’m just tending to myself as I try out corn on the cob for the first time.

Well, I got my first haircut. I didn’t cry or get fussy, but you can tell I really wasn’t sure about this. It helped that Arianna cut my hair. She’s cut Mom and Dad’s hair, so I already knew her and approved of her work.

Dad and I are reading The Daddy Book, which I gave him for Father’s Day. On the right is a shirt I made for him (with a little help from Mom).

Grandma and Grandpa celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 27, 2004. Dad and Uncle Mark put together a reception for them. Nearly 100 people were there! In this photo, Grandma and Grandpa are re-enacting the traditional wedding cake feeding, complete with a cake that had a photo of them with their cake on their wedding day.

By the way, I’ve also come up with my own word for parties – bap. It originally applied to just birthdays, but I decided to extend the meaning.
