Let me ‘fess up right away – this page is not about all of July. There’s not a single photo here to represent anything beyond the 4th of July. Sometimes it’s all about the holidays.
At right, obviously, are fireworks. Dad took me out to see fireworks. We got to see these just sitting on the street corner in the heart of Overland Park. Pretty cool! |
Right before the holiday, though, we went up to St. Paul, Minnesota to visit Aunt Jennifer. Well, let’s be honest – we went when we did because Dad was going to see The Police in concert since they weren’t coming to the KC area.
Since I’m posed with Jennifer and Ronald McDonald, you’d assume I ate there, right? Oh no. Mom and Dad have a thing against Mickey D’s so I’ve only eaten there a couple times in my life. Oh sure, they’ll pay more than a hundred bucks so they can see some dinosaur band from 25 years ago, but they won’t plop down a couple bucks for me to eat a Happy Meal? |

I did, however, get to go the children’s museum where they had a Curious George exhibit. |
