For my big birthday bash, I gathered with friends and family at Deanna Rose Farmstead. It is a farm complete with the expected animals as well as pony rides, a petting zoo, a play area, and, of course, the corrals where people can celebrate birthdays.
After we all celebrated with some cake, we hit the farm.
We looked at the animals and some of us fed them – we even got a whole bag of goat feed as party of the birthday package. By the way, if anyone from Deanna Rose stumbles across this page, I’m available for endorsements.

All three of my grandparents were there.
One of my presents from Grandmommy Shirley was a doll, who I named ‘Hap,’ as in ‘happy birthday.’ I also got a Dr. Seuss pillow from Grandma and Grandpa.
One of my most special presents was an ABC book that Mom made for me! She’s done a lot of scrapbooking and made this book for me with photos of family and other things that are significant to me.
Of course, the whole day was special and I’m grateful to everyone who helped me celebrate my 2nd birthday!
