2004

Welcome to November!

As one might expect, we got some fall weather and some winter weather. It meant I got to play outside in the leaves one day without even having to wear a coat and another day would have to wear what I call my “big coat.”

Our neighbors, Steve and Mary, have helped us shape a little family tradition. For three years in a row, Mary has snapped family photos of Mom and Dad and I on Steve’s motorcycle. This year I brought along my doll Baby Hap (and of course we outfitted him with a dew rag as well). The biggest thrill, though, was getting to play with Lucy, their new puppy.

One of the big events this month was Grandmommy Shirley’s 75th birthday. Mom and I flew to North Carolina to help surprise her. We had a big dinner with lots of relatives.

Sue, Hannah, Evan Also exciting this month was the arrival of new baby Hannah. She is the granddaughter of our neighbors Bill and Sue across the street. I was very excited to get to meet her. In this shot, I’m going for her binky.

Well, that’s not much for this month – but next month promises to be busy with two Christmas celebrations.
