Here I am, dancing my way into July! The month kicked off with a ‘bang’ (4th of July, you know) as we went to a friend’s house to see fireworks. I got to stay up later than I ever have! They were loud, but fun to watch. I also enjoyed playing in Christy’s kayak at her house. I guess those things move a little bit better when they’re in the water… |
Once again, Levi is the center of a lot of things, but in a good way. I got this remote control car (at left) as a big brother present.
Then, in my “imitate taking care of Levi” phase, I decided Mom shouldn’t be the only one that has to pump to get milk for Levi. |
We’ve now had our van (picture of Levi and I in the van at left) for over a month, even though it still feels pretty new. Dad sold his old car to his cousin Carolyn, who flew from North Carolina with her son Jesse to visit us a few days and then drive home. That’s Jesse reading a book to me at the right. |
A couple other fun moments this month – Mom’s friend Colleen was here from Chicago and we went out for ice cream. Can you tell?
I also decided to act out the book Caps for Sale. If you don’t know the story, it’s about a peddler who sells caps, all of which he wears on top of his own cap. |
The biggest highlight of the month was getting to go see Thomas the Train. Sure, the train was old and had no air conditioning and it was 100 degrees outside, but I didn’t mind. I got to actually meet the conductor and play with some toy trains and see Thomas! Pretty good month, I’d say. |
