2005

October was highlighted with some special grandmother visits. First, we went to Iowa to visit my great grandmother, Dad’s grandma. This was the first time she got to meet Levi.

At the end of the month, Grandmommy Shirley (Mom’s Mom) came to visit. One of the highlights was getting to make applesauce with her.

The month was also marked by the return of the indoor playground at a local community center. My favorite activities are riding around on the different kinds of bikes and such and playing basketball.

I got in yet another play this month, this time Winnie the Pooh. Dad and I went to a Disney production that stayed very true to the spirit of the original Pooh characters and left me pretty mesmerized. Dad was impressed with the show as well.

Of course, October also means Halloween. This year I went as Bob the Builder. We trick or treated at a few houses around the neighborhood, starting with Steve and Mary. Not fully understanding the concept, I said ‘trick or treat’ and then proceeded to reach into my basket to dig out a treat to present to them.

Dad and I also did our annual pumpkin carving. I helped ‘scoop the goop’ but wasn’t too wild about touching it with my hands.

..And for the last image of the month, I leave you with this shot of me eating my breakfast banana with a pair of chopsticks. Please also note the wonderful bedhead I’m sporting.

See ya next month!
