Mom and I took a special trip, just the two of us, to North Carolina. Dad and Evan stayed home; next month they are going to Georgia for Dad’s aunt and uncle’s 50th wedding anniversary. |

Mom went for a college reunion. She saw college friends Laura Collins (left), who was a minister at Mom and Dad’s wedding, and Rick Lancaster (right, with his family). |  |

We also saw the dorm (Mary Hobbs Hall) where Mom used to live. |
| Being in North Carolina also meant a chance to see Grandmommy Shirley! |  |

We played at a park, which included the car we’re driving above. |
