| This was a busy month, full of highs and lows. On the low end, my great grandfather passed away and so Mom and Dad and I went to Iowa for the funeral. I only met my great grandfather once (see photo on the November 2002 calendar page), but at least I have photos of me with him. |

We also got a photo of me sitting in this chair that has been in the family since my great grandmother was a little girl. |
| On a happier note, I had the joy of experiencing snow. It snowed last winter, but I was too little to appreciate and we’d didn’t get much snow to be able to appreciate. This year I went sledding and Mom and Dad even built Evan-sized snowmen for me. By the way, this photo is actually two spliced together, hence Dad tried to be cute by putting the funky lightning bolts on it to cover the splices. The photos were taken at the same time, though. |  |

I’m also finding new ways of entertaining myself all the time. I’ve tried to hone my acrobatics – this standing-on-my-head stunt is quite entertaining.
I also love getting in the towel drawer in the kitchen and making a general mess of things. |

Then there’s the joy of moving from point A to point B. I got my first ‘bike’ for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Whitaker.
I also had fun tooling around with this mini-shopping cart at Uncle Mark and Aunt Liz’s house. By the way, Liz, Dad says he needs the cart back with a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies in it! |  |

Speaking of Christmas, I went to Mom’s work to see Santa Claus. They also had these Christmas trees there that were fun to explore. |  |
Well, going to my great grandfather’s funeral was the low for the month, but as soon as we got back we packed up again and headed for Arizona (the 9th state I’ve visited!) to spend Christmas with Mom’s family. Click on the button below to see photos from that trip.
