July 4, 2003: One of my latest skills is pointing. I try to point interesting people out to Mom and Dad and make it clear to them when I want to go somewhere other than where I'm sitting at the moment. |  |

July 8, 2003: One of my favorite activities for months has been bouncing in my jumpy swing. It's the best I can do for now as far as moving on my own! |
| July 17-20, 2003: I saw Uncle Chris twice in July. He was in North Carolina over the July 4 weekend and then he came to visit us a couple weeks later. He helped Mom and Dad do a lot of jobs around the task - like painting the bedroom - but he still had time to play with me. |  |

July 22, 2003: I'm not walking on my own yet, but I'm trying. I am starting to cruise a little bit and am pulling up on things, but I still have to hold on to Mom or Dad's hands to walk. |  |

July 25, 2003: Mom and Dad babysat for a friend of Mom's. I was helping out here - Dakota couldn't find his binky, so I gave him a hand. Ah, I remember how rough life was at his age. |
